O.S.M.T.H. is the only guardian, successor and legitimate real offspring of the knight’s spirit and the tradition of the medieval Order of the Temple.
O.S.M.T.H. is a traditional Christian, ecumenical, knightly, cosmopolitan, politically independent international order governed by its principles. These principles were set by Saint Bernard de Clairvo, and the Historical Charter of 1324. Jean Marc Larmenius.
O.S.M.T.H. is primarily a patriotic organization. Our Order is dedicated to the preservation of freedom, which is essential for the freedom of conscience and religion for all. But the main mission of modern Templars is charity. Our Order accomplishes its mission through charity actions (in the country and in the Holy Land).
The virtues of faith, love and hope are the leading lights of the Sovereign Military Order of the Jerusalem Temple, whose members want to serve, as the old knights have served. The motto of the Order is from Psalm 115, First verse – “Not to us, Lord, not to us, but to glory to your name.”
Every member of the Order maintained, with an open heart and a strong will for the benefit of the society, the following principles and obligations:
- Protection of Christianity, the Holy Church and Christian civilization;
- Maintaining a Christian presence in the Holy Land and increasing influence throughout the world;
- Support and help to the unprivileged, poor and sick, as well as to promote Christian humanism and mercy;
- Promoting moral values and strengthening the spirit of our order;
O.S.M.T.H. is not related to the fraternity of freemasons; it is also no secret or occult society.
